Company History

Fatima Corporation Sdn. Bhd (FCSB) was incorporated on 16th September, 1997 as a family investment concern. However it remained dormant for several years and only refocused it's scope of business when it was taken by new management on the 11th March, 2003. The new management/shareholders had decided to steer the company to be the trader of imported luxury cars (brand new or used).

In the beginning, FCSB together with its associate, Tenaga Wan Bersaudara Sdn Bhd (TWSB) was involved in the trading of new and used imported luxury cars such as Mercedes Benz, BMW and other recognised luxury brands. TWSB was the recognised and legal Imported Permit (AP) holder with a yearly allocation of approximately 268 APs from the Ministry of International Trade and Industry (MITI), Malaysia and the said allocation authorized TWSB to import those cars into Malaysian market without any hindrance.

Importing vehicles from its respective origin proves to be a lucrative business due to the lesser cost involved as compared to the cost of the vehicle if purchased from local suppliers. However, the risk is high for this kind of business due to high capital layout, accessibility to the relevant authority as well as its high dependency on global economic climax. FCSB has thus far, with all its resources and technical know how manage to survive successfully in this industry and expanding rapidly very year.

FCSB officially commenced operation in December 2003. In the year 2004 the company managed to sell 68 units of Mercedes Benz, BMW, Toyota as well as other various models a year. In 2005 the number of vehicles sold is 83 units and in 2006 the company manage to sell 120 units.

FCSB's former business premises was at No. 23. Jalan Raja Abdullah, Kg. Baru, Kuala Lumpur before moving to No. 266B, Jalan Jelatek off Jalan Ampang, Kuala Lumpur in January, 2005.

However, to accommodate the rapid development and/or expension of its business, the management of the company have decided to move the business to the current address in August, 2007 and the current premise houses the company's operation office, showroom which can accommodate up to 30 units of vehicles at any given time and car wash area. As far as the car business is concerned, FCSB is operating on RM. 5,000,000-00 working capital and with the annual turn overs of around RM. 15,000,000-00.

Effective from January, 2008, the shareholders of FCSB have decided to restructure its business portfolios for more effective and efficient management and to transform Fatima Group into a major player in the local business community. This exercise has led to the transfer of all of FCSB business interests to their respective subsidiaries. The followings are the subdiaries of FCSB with brief of their respective business concerns:-

(a)    Motoring industry to Fatima Cartrade Sdn Bhd, and
(b)    Construction and engineering industry to Fatima Engineering Sdn Bhd, and
(c)    Publication and education related industry to Fatima Publication Sdn Bhd, and
(d)    Development to Fatima Development Sdn Bhd, and
